XPI- Mozilla Firefox PluginXPI-

What is? XPI file Format and How can we Open on the Desktop?

An XPI file is an extension for a Mozilla Firefox add-on, a software application meant to provide browser capability. Cross-platform Installer, or XPI, is an acronym that denotes, independent of the operating system, that the add-on is compatible with all past versions of Firefox. XPI files are also compressed archives, so various files connected to the add-on could find a place there.

First, you must download an XPI file from the Mozilla Firefox website before you may access it on your desktop. Just double-click on the file when it has been downloaded to your computer to open it. The file should then be uploaded to Mozilla Firefox by an automatic process. Clicking on the menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser will then allow you to access the add-on; thereafter, choose “Add-ons” from the related menu. The add-on should thereafter be easily available from the installed list of add-ons.
