TSV – Tab Separated Values

What is the TSV file extension?

From the start

Generated and used by many spreadsheets, Tab Separated Values or TSV for short are a kind of data. Unlike data in a CSV file, which is separated by commas, the data in a TSV file is broken by tabs rather than commas. Since TSV files are text files, text editors can access the raw data included in these files. Tab-separated values are data arranged between rows and columns including text, mathematical, or statistical information. Many spreadsheets exist that let you import TSV files.
