TAZ- Tar Zipped Archive

What is? TAZ Format and How can we Open into the desktop?

The TAR archiving application makes use of the TZ extension and is applied on Linux and other operating systems akin to Unix. It is also known as a Tar Compressed Archive File and is meant to compress multiple files into one so that downloading, sharing, or storing them would be more handy. It is also like other archive systems such as RAR, 7Z, and ZIP; but, the TAZ format is not as often used as the others.

Before they may access a TAZ file on their machine, users of desktop PCs must first install an archiving application such as 7-Zip, WinRAR, or WinZip. Once the application has been installed, the user may access the TAZ file in the same way they would open any other archive. The user then may retrieve the files kept in the archive to wherever they so like. With some tools like 7-Zip, it is also feasible for the user to open the archive and view the contained files without having to extract them.
